Wann tuning Stage 2 and above we need to run more boost pressure than the standard sensor can read, that’s when a MAP sensor upgrade is required.
This sensor can be used as an upgrade on most cars up to 2010, it reads to 3.1 bar absolute, which is 2.1 bar of gauge pressure (- 1 bar atmo).
To use this sensor you must also remap the ECU to account for the new calibration, there will be a fault code until the software has been modified, so wait until you have your remap ready to install it.
Die Montage ist die gleiche wie beim PSA-2.5-Bar-Sensor, aber Sie müssen ein wenig Kunststoff von der Ausrichtungsnase auf der männlichen Seite des elektrischen Anschlusses abkratzen.
